History Of The Ranch House
Built in 1948 by William Lewis Moody Jr., The Ranch House is comprised of four limestone suits that still look like they are a part of history. This building was made out of limestone by William Lewis Moody Jr., who also built the famous University of Texas at Austin. The limestone bricks come from the same quarry that built the LB Johnson Library, a stunning display of architecture. You can relax and unwind in the gorgeous Ranch House, exploring the historical site during your stay.

The Commanche Suits can accommodate two to four people and include small historical aspects, like a men’s bathroom separate from a ladies’ bathroom. They are spacious and have a private bedroom with a king-sized bed, and the cozy atmosphere is the perfect place to unwind. The room still has decorations from the late 1940s and is a stunning place for a romantic getaway.
